A couple items of interest today:
First of all, Fred Castle Clothing (of my own former Minneapolis, Minnesota) has given me a shout out on their blog. They’ve reposted my MJ tribute and certified it as dope - many thanks!
Second, if you’re busy squinting at the Michael Jackson tribute wondering why it isn’t bigger - well, your prayers have been answered: I’ve gone and got me a Flickr account with the fine folks at Yahoo! You remember Yahoo? They were after AOL, before Facebook. Anyway, I figure if Flickr’s good enough for super comic stars like Paul Pope, Gabriel Ba, and Fabio Moon, well then it’s good enough for a guy like me who hackishly imitates them with religious dedication. Anyway, there’s larger versions of some of my bigger art that you can view just by clicking on “All Sizes” above the image in question. Spifffy!

One of my major influences, the generous and talented Mr. Kevin Cannon, has mentioned me in an excellent interview with Tom Spurgeon of the Comics Reporter. Kevin’s debut solo graphic novel Far Arden hits comic shops and bookstore shelves this month, but you can also buy it online from publisher Top Shelf Comix. I have one of the small edition printings that Kevin made last year, and I can assure you it’s well worth the Andrew Jackson you’ll drop to read it.
